Inclusion Criteria
healthy men and women aged 18-40 years; BMI 18-25 kg/m2.
Exclusion Criteria
allergy; hypersensitivity or intolerance to any foods/food ingredients; smokers; having a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus; hypertension or TAG; reported medical history of cardiovascular disease, cancer, liver, kidney or bowel disease; vegetarian or vegan diet; taking dietary supplements or receiving any drug treatment; pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method It is expected to find differences in the areas under the curve (AUC) for glycemia and insulin after standard meal consumption.<br>Intervention trial were designed to have 90% power to detect a clinical difference of 15% incremental AUC (IAUC) between the test and reference meal (a = 0.05). A total of 15 volunteers were required for the reference and test meals to achieve the aforementioned power and clinical difference. Thus, a minimum of 15 participants were recruited for each study because each participant was a control of themselves.
