Inclusion Criteria
•Preterm infants(28-36weeks)
.All hemodynamically stable preterm infants (28-36 weeks) admitted in the nursery undergoing heel prick procedure
•Neonates who are tolerating feeds
Exclusion Criteria
•Term babies(37 weeks and above)
•Critically ill babies
•Major congenital abnormalities of face
•Babies kept nil oral
•Baby on opiod or analgesic treatment
•Babies less than 24 hours of age whose mothers underwent general anaesthesia during delivery
•Unwillingness of parent/relative to give consent
