Aim / Primary Objective
To compare the effect of Nirgundi Patra Pinda Sweda And Transcutaneous
Electrical Nerve Stimulation In Gridhrasi with specific focus on Radiating pain.
Secondary Objective
-
To study the Gridhrasi according to Ayurveda and Modern science.

To study concept of Swedana karma through Ayurvedic literature and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation through physiotherapy literature.

To compare the improvement in functional outcomes, including mobility between the two treatment modalities.
PARTICIPANTS
60 Adults diagnosed with Gridhrasi, meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria from OPD and IPD of department of Panchakarma, Shree Saptashrungi Mahavidyalaya and Hospital Nashik
Interventions
Group A – Nirgundi patra pinda sweda for 7 days
Group B – TENS for 7 days
Follow up – On 7th & 14th day
Primary Outcome :
Reduce the sign and symptoms of Gridhrasi
Secondary Outcome:
No Recurrence of Gridhrasi.
Treatment Duration : 7 Days
ASSESMENT :0th , 7th , 14th Days

入选标准
- •Presence of Ruka, Stambha in the sphika and Symptoms of Gridhrasi.
- •Patients indicated for Patra pinda sweda and TENS.
- •Age : 21 to 60 years 4) Gender : Male and Female Both.
排除标准
- •Patient having congenital Structural Deformities.
- •Patient having pacemaker, implant, fracture and needs surgical care will be excluded.
- •Gridhrasi associated with Paralysis, RA, Post operative cases(within 2 month after surgery),etc.
- •Patient unfit for swedana and TENS.
- •Age below 21 years and above 60 years.
