Inclusion Criteria
All patients of carcinoma breast, above 18 years of age, planned for modified radical mastectomy
Exclusion Criteria
1. Previous irradiation to chest
2. Known hypersensitivity to octreotide
3. History of cardiovascular disease, renal and hepatic impairment
4. Pregnancy and lactation
