Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age 18 yrs or older
  • •Undergoing prophylactic mastectomy
  • •Written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Presence of invasive breast cancer or ductal carcinoma in situ upon pathological examination
  • •2\. Contralateral breastcancer
  • •3\. Any other form of cancer
  • •4\. Any surgery or (needle) biopsy of the breast or axilla in the last 3 months
  • •5\. Current immunosuppressive therapy (including chemotherapy)
  • •6\. Current immunotherapy
  • •7\. Autoimmune disorders
