THE ACCURACY OF IMPLANT POSITION PLACED BY COMPUTER - ASSISTED IMPLANT SURGERY IN A SINGLE TOOTH SPACE

Phase 1
Completed
Conditions
Accuracy of implant position in single tooth space
Computer Assisted Implant Surgery (CAIS)
Static CAIS, Dynamic CAIS
Combination of static and dynamic CAIS
Accuracy of implant position
Augmented Reality (AR)
Registration Number
TCTR20210709003
Lead Sponsor
The 90th Anniversary of Chulalongkorn University Scholarship
Brief Summary

The combination of static and dynamic CAIS provided significantly higher accuracy than any of the two alone and freehand surgery for single implant placement. In terms of using AR glasses, the implant placement using dynamic CAIS system combined with AR glasses yielded accuracy implant position similar to dynamic CAIS system without AR glasses for single implant surgery in all aspects of implant deviations.
