Inclusion Criteria

patients presented at Surin hospital with known case ST elevation myocardial infarction ( STEMI) and received percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI).

Exclusion Criteria

1.Pregnancy, 2.Breast feeding,3.active inflammation, 4. infectious disease, 5.current treatment of corticosteroids or other inflammatory agents, 6.hypersensitivity for colchicine, 7.chronic treatment of colchicine,8.chronic diarrhea, 9.colchicine intolerance or contraindication,10.severe renal failure, 11.hepatic failure ( Chid-Puge class B,C),12. cardiac arrest, 13.cardiogenic shock,14.heart failure NYHA class 3,4, 13. inability or unwilliness to provide informed consent.
