简要总结
This is an observational study and no intervention will be done on the patients. Supraclavicular block is the preferred anaesthetic technique for upper limb surgeries. Ultrasound guided supraclavicular block will be evaluated using traditional methods (pin prick test and modified Bromage score) and perfusion index. A total of 30 patients fulfilling inclusion criteria and consenting to participate will be included in the study. In the operation theatre, the baseline vitals and perfusion index of the patient will be recorded and ultrasound guided supraclavicular block will be performed using 20ml of 0.5% Ropivacaine. The sensory and motor block will be assessed using traditional methods every 2 minutes and the SBP, DBP, MAP, SPO2 and perfusion index of the patient will be noted every 5 minutes. Patient will be monitored intra- operatively for any complications.
