Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patient with chronic periodontitis as clinically evidenced by gingivitis together with mild to moderate periodontal pockets
- •2\.Clinically and radiographically evidence of bone loss
- •3\.Should have at least probing depth of more than 5mm.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with ongoing antibiotic therapy
- •2\.Patients with systemic diseases history of diabetes, liver and kidney disease, neurological deficiencies
- •3\.Pregnancy, lactating and smoking
- •4\.Patients undergone surgical or nonsurgical therapy with in 6 months prior the study.
- •5\.Patients with periapical abscess or periodontal abscess.
- •6\.Patients who are deemed to be uncooperative.
- •7\.Patients with poor oral hygiene.
