Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patient with chronic periodontitis as clinically evidenced by gingivitis together with mild to moderate periodontal pockets
  • •2\.Clinically and radiographically evidence of bone loss
  • •3\.Should have at least probing depth of more than 5mm.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with ongoing antibiotic therapy
  • •2\.Patients with systemic diseases history of diabetes, liver and kidney disease, neurological deficiencies
  • •3\.Pregnancy, lactating and smoking
  • •4\.Patients undergone surgical or nonsurgical therapy with in 6 months prior the study.
  • •5\.Patients with periapical abscess or periodontal abscess.
  • •6\.Patients who are deemed to be uncooperative.
  • •7\.Patients with poor oral hygiene.
