简要总结
This study aims to find effectiveness of application based virtual reality training to improve basketball performance in recreational players and to compare it with conventional training method. Basic body measurements like height, weight, and BMI will be recorded. The participants will be divided to two equal groups at random. Group A will first undergo conventional training and will then be assessed on performance attributes using the Johnson Basketball Tests and Ruler Drop Test. On the following day, they will receive VR training, after which the same performance tests will be administered again. Whereas, Group B will first undergo conventional training and will then be assessed on performance attributes. On the following day, they will receive VR training, after which the same performance tests will be administered again. VR training session will be of 30 minutes. The results will be recorded. The tests done will be compared. Descriptive analysis will be done, data will be tested for normality and performance outcome data post VR training and conventional training will be compared using Paired T-test for parametric data and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for non-parametric data.
