Being female. Volunteers must be between 25 and 70 years old. Present pain and chronic lateral tenderness in the hip greater than or equal to 3 months. Pain in at least 1 of the 7 provocative pain tests which is intended to transmit compressive or tension forces in the hip abductor muscles tendons. Do not engage in regular physical activity and present comparable demographic data between groups.
Present body mass index greater than 36kg / m2. Have received some type of invasive intervention to reduce pain in the evaluated region in the last year. Physical therapy intervention in the last 3 months. Present limitation in the range of motion of the spine and hip or lower limbs that disables gait. Present limitation in the range of motion that disables tests or training. Any disease that affects the neuromuscular system or that may prevent data collection. Spinal or hip surgery. Any infectious or neoplasic condition. Can not compromise with the weeks of training.
