65age old over to No limit (—)

Inclusion Criteria

  • COPD patients attending the Respiratory Medicine Outpatient Clinic at Shiga University of Medical Science Hospital during the study period.
  • Those who are age 65 years or older at the time of enrollment.
  • Those who have a history of smoking. However, the number of years and number of cigarettes smoked will not be asked ab
  • out smoking history.
  • Gender is not a factor.
  • Those who own and use a smartphone on which the COPD Self-Management Support Service application can be installed.
  • The attending physician has determined that the patient is capable of wearing the tri-axial accelerometer and entering the patient's medical records into the smartphone application.
  • Those who have agreed to participate in this study by signing a consent form.

  • Rate of use of manuals and application support when installing applications and their effectiveness
