入选标准
- •Group 1: Hearing loss group
- •Individuals in the age range from 60 to 80 years having mild to moderate sloping or flat sensorineural hearing loss with normal middle ear functioning.
- •Group 2: Control group
- •Age, gender and education(in years) matched controls having near normal hearing sensitivity with normal middle ear functioning.
排除标准
- •1.Hearing aid users.
- •2.Individuals with diagnosis of Alzheimerâ??s disease or other neurological conditions
- •3.History or complaint of psychiatric disease.
- •4.Neurodegenerative conditions.
- •5.Dementia.
- •6.Hearing loss due to any other factors other than age.
- •7.Co morbid conditions like substance abuse, long term medication (Eg: Steroids) uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension.
