Inclusion Criteria
Mothers of infants weighing less than or equal to 1500gm at birth and gestational age less than or equal to 32 weeks
Mothers who have a working knowledge of Tamil or English
Exclusion Criteria
Mothers of babies who have known post partum depression or psychosis.
Mothers of infants with major congenital abnormalities.
3)Mothers who did not consent for the study.
