(1) repair surgery of AV canal
(2) repair surgery after 1985
(3) repair surgery at the University Medical Center Göttingen
Exclusion Criteria
(1) surgery other than repair, e.g. palliative surgery
(2) primary corrective surgery in another center
(3) no available patient files

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome of the study is the current clinical status as well as the heart function after the repair of the heart defect.<br>For this purpose, the data of last out-patient examination were collected from the patient file and analyzed regarding:<br>(i) history, especially focusing on re-operations and interventions,<br>(ii) clinical examination findings,<br>(iii) echocardiography and<br>(iv) electrocardiography (ECG).
