入排标准
入选标准
- •1.Patients of both genders and age group 35-65 years.
- •2.Patients with Stage II and stage III generalised periodontitis with
- •interdental clinical attachment loss = 3mm.
- •3.Control group (systemically healthy periodontitis patients)
- •4.Test group ( periodontitis patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with
- •HbA1c = 6.5%).
- •5.Patients with more than 20 teeth .
- •6.Patients who are complying with oral hygiene instructions and
- •periodontal recall.
- •7.Patients who are willing to participate in the study.
排除标准
- •1.Pregnant and lactating women.
- •2.Patients using medication affecting the periodontal status.
- •3.Patients with history of periodontal therapy for the past six months.
- •4.Patients with immunodeficiency disorders and other inflammatory
- •conditions like inflammatory bowel disorders, inflammatory
- •rheumatoid disorders, cancers, COPD will be excluded from the study.
- •5.Patient with the habit of smoking and chewing / other oral lesions such
- •as periodontal abscess are not to be included.
- •6.History of radiation therapy to the head and neck
- •7.Patients who are not willing to participate in the study.
