The present title " A COMPARATIVE CLINICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY OF ARKA PRATISARANEEYA KSHARAKARMA AND APAMARGA PRATISARANEEYA KSHARAKARMA IN THE MANAGEMENT OF NADIVRANA (PILONIDAL SINUS)" a clinical study with total number of 40 registered patients who developed the disease will be selected and randomly allocated into two groups in each 20.
Group A of 20 patients will receive standard Apamarga pratisaraneeya ksharakarma.
Group B of 20 patients will receive trial drug Arka pratisaraneeya ksharakarma.
Assessment will be done with subjective and objective criteria after total treatment duration that is three and half months.

入选标准
- •1.Patients between
- •60 years of age. 2.Patients with Acute or Chronic Sinus Single or Multiple Sinus Tract or Pilonidal abscess. 3.Patients will be selected irrespective of sex, occupation.
排除标准
- •Patients with Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.
- •Patients diagnosed with Koch’s Disease, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, HIV, Hepatitis B and C.

Healing of Pilonidal sinus/ abscess after 15 days of treatment
时间窗: will be observed on 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15th day
次要结局
- No recurrence and way of healing of pilonidal sinus/ abscess after 3 and 1/2 months of duration(After treatment, once in a month for three consecutive months)
