Inclusion Criteria

first living birth between pregnancy week 37+0 and 42+0
- completed 18th year of life
- good knowledge of German or English language to be able to answer the questions meaningfully

Exclusion Criteria

- Premature birth before pregnancy week 37+0 or birth after pregnancy week 42+0
- Previous living births between pregnancy week 24+0 and 37+0
- Prenatal fetal diagnoses that do not allow exclusive breastfeeding without restrictions
- Postpartum fetal diagnoses that do not allow exclusive breastfeeding without restrictions.
- Pre-existing maternal conditions, previous breast surgery or medication which do not allow exclusive breastfeeding without restrictions.
- Multiple pregnancies
- Lack of written informed consent
