Brief Summary

Lumbar Erector Spinae Plane Block Versus Fascia Iliaca Plane Block in Hip Surgeries as Postoperative Analgesia The aim of this study is to compare the analgesic efficacy of lumbar ElectroSpine Plane Block and Fascia Iliaca Plane Block in patients undergoing hip surgery under spinal anesthesia.

Lumbar Erector Spinae Plane Block Versus Fascia Iliaca Plane Block in Hip Surgeries as Postoperative Analgesia The aim of this study is to compare the analgesic efficacy of lumbar ElectroSpine Plane Block and Fascia Iliaca Plane Block in patients undergoing hip surgery under spinal anesthesia.

Primary outcome:

• Follow up postoprative pain.

Secondary outcome:

• Requirment of analgesic drugs either (opoid or non opoid) postoprative.

Eligibility Criteria

Ages
18 Years to 90 Years (Adult, Older Adult)
Sex
All
Accepts Healthy Volunteers
Yes

Inclusion Criteria

  • • Age between ≥ 18 years
  • Both sexes.
  • American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status I-III
  • Undergoing elective unilateral hip surgeries under spinal anesthesia
  • Patients with body mass index (BMI) < 35 kg/m²

Exclusion Criteria

  • • Patient refusal
  • Known allergy to local anesthetics
  • Infection at the site of block
  • Coagulopathy or bleeding disorders
  • Cognitive impairment affecting pain assessment
  • Chronic opioid use
  • Neuromuscular disorders as patients with stroke.
