Attenuation of Hemodynamic Response to Surgical Stimulation with Lingual Nerve Block in Carcinoma Tongue Surgery under General Anesthesia: A Randomized Controlled Trial

This study is a prospective, randomized, controlled study comparing hemodynamic response to surgical stimulation with Lingual Nerve Block in carcinoma tongue surgery under general anesthesia. Primary outcome measure the significant attenuation of heart rate and mean arterial pressure  changes in the Lingual nerve block during tongue resection. Secondary outcome measure reduced intraoperative opioid and anesthetic requirement while lingual nerve block given and no significant block-related complications.
