Brief Summary

This is a open non randomized clinical trial to study the safety and efficacy of siddha trial drug karappan ennai(official siddha herbal formulation) in karappan(Atopic dermatitis) among children between 3-12 years. This trial drug is 15ml oil is externaly applied over the karappan lesions for children for 15 days. The clinical trial is conducted after counducting preclinical toxicity study. The trial drug karappan Ennai is mentioned in Agathiyar vaithiya vallathi 600. During the trial all the study realated data will be recorded and documented. After the completion of trial all the data will be analysed statistically.

Inclusion Criteria

Age 3-12years sex:Both male and female children severe itching with scartching Erythema papules with oedema Vesicles Oozing Crusting Scaling Lichenification Patients willing to fill concent/assent form Patients willing to take Photograph before and After treatment patients who are all willing to give blood samples at subsequent visit are involved in this study.

Exclusion Criteria

Scabies Photo dermatitis Ichthyosis Pityriasis alba Cheilitis.

Primary Outcome Measures

Primary outcome is reduction in EASI Score.Reduction in clinical symptoms like Erythema, Thickness,Severe itchinh,lichenification.Photos of the patient before and after treatment for the evidence of the clinical improvement	15 days
