1. Cancer-related pain
2. no problem with expression and concentration of language
3. subjects capable of monitoring follow-up during trial
4. voluntary participation and sign of informed consent
5. life expentancy of 1 month or more
6. VAS scores of 5 or more despite oral intake of 200mg/d morphine
7. no response of conservative therapy or impossilbe to increase opioid
dose owing to severe adverse events
8. possibility of delayed pain due to cancer, which diagnosed by
histological or cytological examination
9. No mechanical barrier of tissue, good flow of cerebrospinal fluid
(CSF), no active infection for set-up of pain-relief instrument
1. coagulopahty
2. severe hepatic or renal dysfuction (AST or AST value over 100
IU/L, Creatinine value over 3.4mg%)
3. cognitive impairment making prompt response and evaluation impossible
4. pregnant, lactoaging, or fertile women with no consent of proper
contraception
5. no sign of informed consent
6. hypersensitive with local anesthetics or opioid
7. acute infection
8. history of alcohol or drug abuse
9. aucte or self control pain
10. cancer blocking spinal canal
11. respiratory failure
