1. The diagnosis conforms to the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for apoplexy and depression;
2. Aged 40 to 80 years old;
3. Understand and agree to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form (if the patient cannot sign the informed consent form due to physical impairment or other reasons, the patient's legal guardian shall sign on behalf of the patient);
4. The first 17 items of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) >=18 points;
1. Patients with contraindications in the treatment of depression drugs and ointment rubbing, such as severe adverse drug reactions, skin allergy caused by ointments, etc.;
2. Those who are seriously suicidal;
3. Patients with acute (within two weeks) or progressive stroke and unstable vital signs;
4. Impaired consciousness, aphasia, heart disease, liver and kidney dysfunction, organic mental disorder, dementia, cognitive impairment, or stable vital signs.
5. Restricted or without capacity for civil conduct;
