Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients between 40 to 60 years indicated for endoscopy
  • Patient must have for at least 3 months with onset of 6 months previously of one or more of the following symptoms of functional dyspepsia ( Rome IV criteria)
  • Bothersome postprandial fullness
  • Early satiation
  • Epigastric pain
  • Epigastric burning
  • No evidence of structural disease (including at upper endoscopy) that is likely to explain the symptoms

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Patient declining to be part of the study
  • 2.Patient with GI bleeding, anorexia unintentional weight loss, dysphagia
  • 3.Endoscopy evidence of Obstructive lesion/ stricture/ maligancies
  • 4.Patients on medication for already diagnosed functional dyspepsia.
