Ages between 18-75 years, who had spinal anesthesia for urologic and orthopedic surgeries on supine position. Patients were I-II class according to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)
Patients who had drug sensitivity, contraindication for block, difficulty of communication, uncontrolled another disease (such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, arrhythmia, hearth disease), failure of either liver or kidney, intraocular surgery, glaucoma or corneal problem, and refraction problems (up to +3, or -3), as well as patients who uses alpha-2 receptor agonist or antagonist were excluded from the study.
