1.Diagnosed case of hyperlipidemia
2.Patients between the age group of 20-60 years
3.Patients fit for Virechana and Basti Karma as mentioned in classical texts
1.Age < 20 years or > 60 years
2.Patients having serious cardiac problems as- Myocardial Infarction, malignant hypertension, cardiac failure.
3.Patients having major illness like- IDDM and chronic uncontrolled DM II.
4.Patients having any serious renal disorder.
5.Patients having untreated thyroid disorders.
6.Drug induced hyperlipidemia e.g. - Glucocorticoid induced.
7.Pregnant and lactating females.
