- Brief Summary
In the paraplegic patients, walking with WPAL resulted in greater walking independence and longer continuous walking time and distance than walking with orthosis. Approximately 70% of patients achieved independence of level walking (Functional Ambulation Categories 4 points). No serious side effects such as bone fractures were observed by the use of WPAL.
