Inclusion Criteria
ASA 1 and 2 parturient in active labor requesting labor epidural analgesia
Exclusion Criteria
uncooperative patients, significant anatomical disorder of the spine and hip, wound/scar on the lumbar area, subjects with a body mass index (BMI) > 35 kg/m2
