1.Patients of either sex aged between 21 to 60 years.
2.Patient is willing and able to participate in the study.
3.Patients presenting with sign and symptoms of Dry eye syndrome and lakshana of Shushkakshipaka as described in the text.
1.Severe cases of dry eye syndrome with complications like corneal ulcers, uveitis, glaucoma etc.
2.Allergic and inflammatory conditions of eye e.g., Acute Conjunctivitis, Vernal Keratoconjunctivitis, giant papillary conjunctivitis etc.
3.Patients on steroids, oral contraceptive pills, oestrogen replacement therapy, or any other medication such as antispasmodic drugs such as Atropine that may adversely affect the outcome of study.
4.Patients suffering from major systemic illness necessitating long term treatment ex. Psycho-epileptic drug users etc.
5.H/o hypersensitivity to the trial drug or any of its ingredients.
