入排标准
入选标准
- •Inclusion criteria. Anyone (18-65 years old) consulting their GP for whom a community based alcohol detox requiring medication is appropriate. Due to acamprosate’s license for maintaining abstinence, nobody under age of 18 and over 65 will be recruited.
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes
- •F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range
- •F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) no
- •F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range
排除标准
- •Exclusion criteria. Since patients will be selected after their GP has made the decision to offer home/community detox it follows that they will not fulfill criteria for admission or more specialist monitoring: current or significant history of delirium tremens or seizures, current or history of high dose polydrug use, significant medical or psychiatric ill health, pregnant or breast feeding or Wernicke’s encephalopathy. The absence of these factors make it unlikely that any patient will not be able to take acamprosate since its contraindications are renal and severe hepatic impairment; in addition to pregnancy and breast-feeding.
