Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients with head injury either sex,tracheostomized and admitted to ICU for mechanical ventilation will be enrolled in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients having
- •Other associated injuries of limb, thorax or abdomen,
- •requirement of FiO2 \>.5
- •Respiratory disease such as COPD, bronchiectasis, emphysema, asthma
- •Renal dysfunctions
- •Cardiac disease
- •Haemodynamic instability
- •Obesity (BMI \>30kg/m2\)
- •Brain stem injury
- •Pregnancy/Lactation On ventilatory support for less than 48hrs or more than 7 days
