Male with a Total IPSS (international prostate symptom score) score of 8-19
1) Patients undergoing treatment for malignant tumors
2) Patients with a serum PSA concentration of 4.0 ng/mL or higher
3) Patients with a maximum urinary flow rate less than 5 mL/sec or residual urine volume exceeding 150 mL
4) Patients who had undergone prostate surgery
5) Patients with uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes
6) and any other patients whose medical condition was determined to be problematic to participate in this study
