All consecutive patients with proven colorectal malignancy undergoing treatment in the department of surgery

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients receiving gastric anti-secretory medications and NSAIDs on long-term basis.

2.H/o previous gastro duodenal surgery.

3.H/o Zollinger Ellison syndrome
