Inclusion Criteria

Pregnant women between the 18th and 22nd SSW
Singleton pregnancy
Declaration of consent
sufficiently good German language and reading skills to understand the content of the questionnaires and the pelvic floor prevention offer

Exclusion Criteria

- Age < 18 years
- expected lack of compliance of the patient (inability of the patient to understand the purpose of the study)
- lack of informed consent
- Poor knowledge of German

Primary Outcome Measures

Reduction of pelvic floor dysfunction intra- and postpartum: improvement of pelvic floor health by at least 1 point (= clinically relevant).
Secondary Outcome Measures

To test the acceptability of the teaching measure (vaginal palpation as a tool for assessing pelvic floor health in pregnant and postpartum women, as well as individualized instruction and awareness of correct contraction and relaxation of the pelvic floor), 3) Presenting differences in pelvic floor health intrapartum and postpartum in women with and without teaching, 4) Recognizing BB weakness requiring treatment (Oxford score < 3) intrapartum and postpartum, 5) Examining the acceptability of the midwife as an appropriate agent of the measures listed to maintain and/or Restore women's pelvic floor health, and 6) Analyze the outcome of pelvic floor health when risk factors are present Conduct a subgroup analysis.
