Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients between the ages of 18 and 60 , of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical class I and II, undergoing elective surgery and in whom propofol based induction is planned.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with severe hypotension
- •2\. Patients planned for rapid sequence intubation, pregnant patients
- •3\. Patients requiring IV sedation/opiods before surgery ( eg. cardiovascular co\-morbidities)
- •4\. Patients with difficult venous access, thin calibre veins.
- •5\. Patients with known allergy to egg proteins
