Inclusion Criteria

Outpatient status, mild or moderate depression or dysthymia according to MINI (ICD-10: F32.0; F32.1; F33.0; F33.1; F34.1), current outpatient treatment (e.g. psychotherapy, medication), sufficient language skills (regarding both speaking and writing) and able to meet the requirements of the study, Internet-access (privately at home or sufficient opportunity to access the internet regularly), written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

ICD-10 diagnoses: dementia, alcohol/ drug addiction; schizophrenia; manic episode or bipolar disorder; obsessive-compulsive disorder according to MINI (F0, F1, F2, F30, F31, F42), acute suicidal tendencies, known personality disorder (F60.2, F60.31), Severe somatic disorders requiring immediate treatment, Participation in another clinical trial within the last 4 weeks, known alcohol/ drug abuse within the last 6 months, pregnancy

Primary Outcome Measures

Acceptance and satisfaction (measured with Evaluations of the program and its modules and the ZUF-8, drop-out rates). Moduls are evaluated weekly. Evaluation of the program and ZUF-8 are measured at the end of the intervention (duration of intervention 7 weeks).
Secondary Outcome Measures

Changes in symptom severity (IDS, PHQ-9, CGI) and health-related quality of life (SF-12), assessment of side effects (INEP), sex differences. Measurment: before the beginning of the intervention (T0, except for INEP), 3 weeks after the beginning of the intervention, at the end of the intervention (T2), follow-up 3 months after the end of the intervention (T3)
