Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • All COPD patients reporting to the Pulmonary Medicine OPD who have never been provided pulmonary rehabilitation therapy will be eligible for inclusion into the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Presence of any serious comorbidities or Presence of any condition which may be an absolute or relative contraindication for 6\-minute walk test e.g. Coronary Artery Disease, unstable angina, recent myocardial infarction, resting heart rate of more than 120, a systolic blood pressure of more than 180 mm Hg, and a diastolic blood pressure of more than 100 mm Hg, Terminally ill and Moribund patients.
  • 2\.Patients are not able to perform given tasks conveniently.
  • 3\.Unwillingness to participate in the study.
  • 4\.Pregnant patients
  • 5\.Patients already undergoing pulmonary rehabilitation.
