Inclusion Criteria
1)Adults patients aged more than 18years age 2)Patient undergoing emergency midline laparotomy
Exclusion Criteria
1)Presence of prior abdominal midline scar
2)Patients of reexploration by opening the previous midline incision
3)Pregnant ladies
4)Patients in which prosthesis is used during closure
5)Decision against rectus sheath is closure as a part of abdomen closure
