Brief Summary

The study is an open labelled  double arm clinical study of uttarvasti with varunadi tailam and dhanwantra tailam in Vatasthila w.s.r to Benign Prostrate Hyperplasia. Thus 40 patient fullfilling the inclusion criteria will be selected from the OPD of sri jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda college and hospital . The primary outcome of the study is to analyse the change in the scoring of Incomplete emptying , Frequency , Intermittency , Urgency , Weak stream, Straining , Nocturia  after the procedure of Uttarvasti for a period of 3 days countinuosly and 4 day gap similarly procedure will be done for 21 days . The secondry outcome of the study fossuses on any general improvement in mental , physical , social aspects of health as well as to note whether there is any recurrence for a period of 2 month . follow up is carried out once a week for one month after 21 days of observation of procedure .

Inclusion Criteria

• Patient diagnosed with post voidable urine volume less than 100ml .
• Patient willing for uttarvasti procedure.
• Having symptoms of BPH.
• Patient diagnosed as BPH by both clinical sign symptoms and USG were included.

Exclusion Criteria

• Urethral stricture 2.
• Raised PSA.
• K/C/O Malignancy of Urogenital System.
• K/C/O Congenital deformities of Urogenital Tract .
• K/C/O Renal failure , Uretric calculi , renal calculi , chronic UTI.
• Uncontrol Diabetes mellitus 7.
• Hypertension 8.
• Cardiac problem 9.
• Liver disease .
