- Male
入选标准
- •Male; age minimun 21 years; definitive diagnosis of prostate cancer determined by prostatic biopsy, performed preferably guided by transrectal ultrasonography; no professional dental prophylaxis performed in the last 3 months; minimun 06 teeth present; able and willing to understand the protocol and sign a consent form.
排除标准
- •Positive history of periodontal treatment in the last six months; diabetes; history of myocardial infarction, stroke, or organ transplantation during the last 6 months; the need for antibiotic prophylaxis to perform routine dental procedures; use of anti-inflammatories for a long period of time, or any medicine that may interfere with periodontal aspects; smoking; patients who were unable to attend the appointments
