Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adult patients (aged between 18 \& 65 y) of either sex and ASA PS I to III undergoing emergency laparotomy for proven or clinically suspected peritonitis under general anaesthesia will be recruited in this study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •I.Patientsâ?? refusal
- •II.History of any previous neck surgery or trauma
- •III.Pregnancy
- •IV.American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status III\- V
- •V.History of peripheral arterial diseases/ atherosclerosis
- •VI.BMI \> 30kg/m2
- •VII.Any cardiac rhythm other than sinus
- •VIII.Cardiomyopathy
- •IX.Hemodynamically unstable patients/ patients requiring inotropic and/ or vasopressors.
