This study is a non-randomized trial evaluating and comparing the retention rate, marginal integrity and caries incidence of hydrophilic and hydrophobic pit and fissure sealants in permanent molars at 3 and 6 months in 156 permanent molars for preventing caries of occlusal surfaces of permanent molar teeth in children aged 6 to 12 years.

- All
入选标准
- •6 – 12 year old healthy children.
- •All fully erupted non carious permanent molars.
- •Contralateral molars.
- •No history of any fluoride application from last 6 months or sealant application on molars.
- •Children with high risk of caries.
- •Presence of bilateral maxillary and mandibular molars on both sides.
排除标准
- •Children with hypoplastic teeth.
- •Uncooperative children.
