简要总结
Our study wishes to evaluate the effect of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy on vasoactive mediators and percentage excess weight loss in patients with morbid obesity. Several studies have been done but there is a paucity of literature on this relationship between vasoactive mediators and obesity in Indian population.
Hence, this study aims to determine the effect of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy on vasoactive mediators in patients with morbid obesity.

入选标准
- •Morbidly Obese individuals with BMI more than 37.5; Morbidly Obese individuals with BMI more than 32.5 with comorbidities like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease.
排除标准
- •History of cerebrovascular accident in last 6 months.
- •Known case of Severe hepatic, cardiac, psychiatric diseases Known case of Renal artery stenosis and renal disorders.
- •Patients lost to follow up.
结局指标
主要结局
Change in serum levels of angiotensinogen, renin, aldosterone, and free fatty acids 3 months after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
时间窗: Before and 3 months after surgery.
次要结局
- 1.To calculate the percentage excess weight loss 3 months after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.(2.To correlate the percentage excess weight loss with the change in serum levels of angiotensinogen, renin, aldosterone and free fatty acids 3 months after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.)
