Inclusion Criteria
Being person with type 2 diabetes; between 18 and 65 years old; both sex; no problems in liver or kidney; Not be allergic to passion
fruit.
Exclusion Criteria
Being patient with type 1 diabetes; smoker; alcohol drinker; pregnant women

Name Time Method Blood glucose decreased average in eight weeks, as evidenced by changes in the 1% of glycated hemoglobin before and after intervention. ;The decrease in mean blood glucose levels within eight weeks following the intervention obtained a variation of less than 1%.

Name Time Method Decreased body weight (in kilograms) in eight weeks, as evidenced by variation of at least five kilos before and after intervention. ;The decrease in body weight obtained a variation of less than five kilograms after the intervention (0.5 kilograms)
