- •Anaesthesia residents who had completed atleast 6 months training in anaesthesiology and who are novice to the performance of ultrasound guided TAP block.
- •2) All ASA 1 to 3 patients, aged 18 to 70 years, posted for elective abdominal surgeries and requiring Transverse Abdominis Plane block for postoperative analgesia.

- •1. Residents who had already undergone training in phantom based ultrasound guided needling training.
- •2. Pregnant patients.
- •3. Patients with coagulation abnormalities or bleeding disorders.
- •4. Patients with local abdominal wound infections.
- •5. Allergy to local anesthetics.
- •6. Patients not willing for the study.
