Inclusion Criteria of Patients:
Patients presenting with classical signs and symptoms of Abhishyanda (conjunctivitis â?? acute, subacute and chronic) e.g.
ï?§Discomfort,
ï?§Foreign body sensation,
ï?§Pain,
ï?§eyelid swelling,
ï?§Feeling of heat at lid margins,
ï?§Conjunctival congestion,
ï?§Chemosis,
ï?§Discharges,
ï?§Pre-auricular lymph node enlargement,
ï?§Matting of cilia,
ï?§Crusting of lids etc.
Age limit of patients will be between ten to 60 years.
Exclusion criteria of Patients:
1.Patient not willing for registration.
2.Complicated conjunctivitis e.g. with glaucoma, uveitis, corneal ulcer, panophthalmitis / enophthalmitis, dacryocystitis, episcleritis, scleritis, dry eye etc.
3.Specific conjunctivitis (Tuberculous, lepromatous conjunctivitis etc.)
4.Non-specific systemic infections.
5.Patients of ocular trauma.
6.Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
7.Age limit of patients less than ten and greater than 60 years.
