Meeting the criteria for obesity (BMI = 28.0 kg/m²) and the dyslipidemia diagnostic standards according to the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Dyslipidemia in Chinese Adults (2016 Revised Edition), with the simultaneous presence of high low-density lipoprotein cholesterol disorders, i.e., LDL-C = 3.4 mol/L (130 mg/dL), aged between 18-45 years; understanding the trial and signing the informed consent form.
Subjects will be excluded if they have one or more of the following criteria:
A.With immune-related diseases;
B. With major internal medicine, tumor and other diseases;
C. In the acute stage of cold, acute infection, or with inflammation, scar or trauma at the operation site, or with severe systemic infection; or those who are experiencing or may develop diabetic skin erosion or ulcer;
D. With infectious diseases such as syphilis or AIDS;
E. With severe primary diseases of the hematopoietic system, or patients with abnormal coagulation function;
F. With severe cognitive impairment and inability to cooperate;
G. During breastfeeding stage or preparing for pregnancy;
H. With diabetes;
I. Taking drugs known to affect glucose and lipid metabolism;
J. Receiving other treatments that may affect the response assessment of this intervention;
K. Having received acupuncture treatment in the past six months.
