Inclusion Criteria

Only female patients between 20-60 years undergoing thyroidectomy with or without central compartment lymph node dissection in the department of Endocrine surgery. The study will be performed in accordance with protocols approved by the institutional ethics committee.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients undergoing modified radical neck dissection in addition to thyroidectomy.

2.Patients with a recent history of headache or neck pain as well as chronic headache.

3.Patients with a history of analgesic intake immediately prior to operation

4.Patients who are unable to understand the response grading of the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)

5.A history of intolerance to the medications used in the study
