Inclusion Criteria
Healthy volunteers; both genders; age between 18 and 40 years; no experience with Bhastrika Pranayama
Exclusion Criteria
Diagnosis of heart problems; chronic rhinitis; frequent use of aspiration bronchodilator; regular use of beta blocker or stimulant and any drug that interferes with cardiac modulation; diagnosis of neurological or psychiatric disorders; pregnancy; metallic implants

Name Time Method Decrease in anxiety level assessed by one-month post-anxiety anxiety inventory compared to baseline (before training) and control group by repeated-measures ANOVA with two factors: intervention (pranayama x control) and time (before x after). We used the statistical threshold of p less than 0.05;Increase in positive affect and decrease in negative affect assessed using the Positive Affect and Negative Affect scale one month after training compared to baseline (before training) and the control group by repeated measures ANOVA with two factors: intervention (pranayama x control) and time (before x after). We used the statistical threshold of p less than 0.05.
