Inclusion Criteria

Competitive athletes from the field of soccer.

Exclusion Criteria

Current injury to thigh muscles and/or knee. Surgical procedure in the mouth/head/neck area less than three months ago.

Primary Outcome Measures

Altered muscle strength in different bite situations. Muscle force is measured as torque during extension and flexion of the knee (specified in Nm).
Secondary Outcome Measures

Increase in muscle force when using the uniform occlusion splint.<br>Reduction in muscle force when using the occlusal splint with interference contact.<br>The muscle force is also measured here as the torque of the knee in Nm.
